There is so much to know and so little time to tell it all. Let's start with the basics: I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. I come from a big family who all love to laugh, so I was quite a goofball at home (I still am). My favorite thing to do as a kid was to play in the backyard with my siblings. Summer days, juleps, and inflatable pools were the keys to my heart!
I fell in love with acting from watching lots of taped musicals as a kid. I didn't really understand what acting was, but I knew I wanted to be on stage in a spectacular costume, singing a catchy song. My first on-stage moment came in 1st grade--I was assigned to be a flag-bearer. No lines, just very light blocking. My nerves were through the roof! My first play (with speaking lines and all!) came in 5th grade. Less nerves and way more fun!
Since then, I went on a journey. Occasionally performing, occasionally dabbling in other endeavors.
Now, I'm an Los Angeles-based actor with an M.F.A in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. I still love summer days, but now I spend them walking through street fairs and watching movies in the park. When I'm not out enjoying nature, I'm spending time with friends, or crafting something spectacular at home!
